Retiring from special order trade shops in 1987, where I had worked as a diamond setter for 41 years, I could not leave the trade altogether. I then began brokering loose diamonds and doing special order work out of my home, and copywrited the name GemSpec with a Registered Trademark.I am available at trooperbob1944@cs.com

Robert L. Williams volunteered for the US Army Parachute Troops in 1942, served with headquarters Co 2nd Bn 506th PIR 101st Airborne Div, jumped into Normandy June 6th, 1944. In June 1994 along with 19 other D-Day veterans he again jumped into Normandy from a WWII C-47 troop carrier in memory of his comrades that did not return from the war. His landing that day has appeared in Time Magazine five times, and is the subject of his book, Return To Normandy. After the war he retired to a cattle & tobacco farm in Kentucky.
His book Cowboy's Caravan is true adventure of his oldest son David, who died in a plane crash while skydiving in Georgia.
